

Avoid helical and ellipsoidal lines (such as modeled springs) or replace them with a cylinder with a transparent spring texture.Remove all unwanted fasteners (such as bolts or nuts) from the assembly.Reduce the number of features by a scroll back in the timeline.Use Selection Sets to hide unimportant components.Remodel imported SOLIDWORKS files where possible.Sometimes, models with many components should be broken up into linked component files to separate computing.Make sure that all linked components and drawings are synced up properly.

Delete or remove Mesh and T-spline bodies used during the modeling process. Simplify as many components as possible by deleting bodies and faces.
